Information for Vendors providing ASL/CART Services remotely
All guests are assigned a Rutgers unique identifier known as a NetID, comprised of initials and a unique number (e.g. jqs23). In order to access many of the electronic services available to you at Rutgers, all ASL Interpreters and CART captioners need to activate a Rutgers NetID. Their assigned NetID will be given to you by email. NETID’s allow for Canvas Access. In canvas you may keep up to date on class announcements, zoom room updates, and preparatory materials.

Making Arrangements for Students Approved for ASL/CART/FM or Captioning Services Services
Students approved through the Office of Disabilities Services (ODS) will provide professors with a Letter of Accommodation (LOA) indicating they require American Sign Language (ASL), CART captioning, an FM System or closed captioning for their lectures. Typically, you will receive an email from the ODS prior to this, asking for information to enable you to make appropriate arrangements for your course.
