Sophomore, Psychology Major
My most impactful part of Rutgers was ODS. At the end of the syllabus spiel on the first day of classes, professors would always mention talking to the Office of Disability Services if you had any concerns or questions. I was super hesitant and it took mea year before actually contacting them and it was easily my best decision I made at Rutgers. They really helped me understand how I learn and are genuinely the nicest people on campus. I had a blast doing the testing and they walked me through every step when they gave me the results of my evaluation. You don’t feel dumb or embarrassed. Instead, you feel supported and reassured that you CAN accomplish what you put your mind to.
